Time : 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a short break for lunch, bring your own food and drink

Facilitator : Ashlea Fox is a traditional skills enthusiast and home-maker. Currently Ashlea is studying to become a Holistic Nutritionist and believes we should all be mindful of the foods we put in our bodies. Two of the best ways to do this is to know where your food comes from and to cook and/or prepare it yourself. For the last ten years Ashlea has learned how to bake bread, can foods, make cheeses, roll pasta, prepare ferments and brew kombucha.

Summary : In the course we will cover the basics of canning and best practices.
