Introducing the
Earth Haven Farm Buying Club
You are receiving this communication because you are part of our local homesteading group and/or you have expressed interest in participating in a food hub or food buying group.
I am pleased that after considerable research and consideration, Earth Haven Farm will be taking on the administrative responsibilities for a buying club through the Ontario Natural Food Coop.
We have been approved by the ONFC Grocery + Wellness which is a wholesale distributor of organic and natural grocery and personal care products in the dry, chill, frozen, and bulk categories serving natural food stores, grocery chains, independent grocery stores, natural health + supplement stores, buying clubs, restaurants, cafes and specialty retailers.
We currently have about 20+ members and are looking to grow our buying group. If you live in the Tweed, Ontario area and are able to pick up at Earth Haven Farm, we would love to hear from you. CSA members can order products and pick them up with their weekly or bi-weekly fresh food boxes.
The ONFC Grocery + Wellness is a private buying club and you must become a member through a preapproved group like our Earth Haven Farm Buying Club. We would love to have you join our membership.
There is absolutely no obligation to purchase. Members can order monthly, bi-monthly, once every six months, or just once a year. You can also sign up to become a member just to stay informed until you are comfortable or ready to purchase.
As a member you will have access to the ONFC Grocery + Wellness digital catalogue and all online services including instructions, FAQ’s, etc. Once you are able to log-in to the ONFC website, you will find that the shopping cart is similar to most other shopping carts. By shopping online you will be able to search products by category, brand, name or simply type in what you might be looking (ie. Beans, cosmetics, teas, flour, rice, pet food).
If you are not comfortable with ordering online, we will supply you with an order form that you can fill in using either the online catalogue or the PDF catalogue. Send the form to us and we will enter your order.
Minimum order is $800 for free shipping. That is a group total.
Orders under $800 will be charged a delivery fee and that fee will be divided between all purchasing members.
Deliveries of orders will be made to Earth Haven Farm one Monday each month. We will be selecting one specific Monday each month for our group delivery. This will simplify things for us here at Earth Haven Farm.
Orders must be paid for at the time of delivery and I will be taking care of this payment. Members will be required to pay for their individual orders before or at the time of pick-up. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or e-transfer.
