Two main ingredients – lard and essential oils. Our soap made from organically raised pastured pork. The lard is rendered here at Earth Haven and the soap is made by Tabitha. The essential oils are integrally sourced. Lard is a long tradition offering several benefits, including a creamy and stable lubricating lather, moisturizing properties, and a mild cleansing effect that is gentle on the skin. You will find this soap leaves you feeling clean and nourished. Lard, which is rendered pork fat, has been used for centuries in soap making due to its unique properties and benefits. This age old traditional soap recipe is back and becoming quite popular. One bar will last 3-4 times longer than commercial soaps. Additionally, lard soap is often more affordable and sustainable, utilizing a by-product that might otherwise go to waste.
