Garlic Scape Pesto....
Now, what to do with it?
- Toss it with cold pasta or any raw food recipe
- Spread it on crackers
- Add additional olive oil and use it as a drizzle on top of any dish
- Roll bread dough out and spread with pesto – roll up as you would for cinnamon bread and bake. Serve with spaghetti and Caesar salad!
- Use with your favourite garlic bread recipe
- Layer it in a Lasagna
- Dollop it on top of a baked potato with sour cream and butter
- Add a spoonful or two to any cooked pasta or stir fry recipe
- Add a spoonful or two to soups, stews, quiche, scrambled eggs, etc.
- Add ground pine nuts, parmesan cheese or any other cheese or ingredients and re-blend for your own personal flavour enticement
- Be creative!
