Washing Instructions:

Pre-soak or rinse in cold water prior to washing.  Wash separately as you would regular laundry.  Best to use non-fragrance, organic, environmentally safe soaps to enhance the natural purpose of the pads.  There may be a 5-10% rate of shrinkage after successive washings.

Beeswax Food Wraps

An eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap! 100% Cotton fabric is infused with beeswax, pine tree resin and jojoba oil to create a wrap that is waterproof and re-usable. Beeswax food wraps can be used to replace sandwich bags, Ziplocs for snacks, and bowl toppers for leftovers. Fruits and vegetables may also be wrapped to preserve the integrity of the food. Beeswax does not harbour bacteria so it is ideal for using with foods. These wraps are not recommended for meat products.

To wash and reuse wraps, simply wipe with cool to lukewarm water along with a mild soap and hang to dry. Wraps can be reused over and over again and can last between 6 and 12 months. When wraps are looking a little worn out, they can be revitalized by placing them in a warm oven (200 degrees or less) on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper for a few minutes. this allows the beeswax to be melted and redistributed throughout the fabric again.

Wraps can be composted too, so when they have reached the end of their lifespan, simply cut them up into small pieces and put them in your compost.  100% bio-degradable.

Wraps are sold in packages of three different sizes. The large wrap (14" x 16") is great for wrapping breads and large bowl toppers for leftovers. The medium size wrap (10" x 11") is good for sandwiches and wrapping cheeses, and medium size bowls. The small size (7" x 8") is great for snacks like granola bars and nuts, and small bowls.

$20.00 per pack of 3 (small, medium, large)
